| Book 14 completed! |
Gratz to the night-owls - Halborg, Merwind, Gwendor, Aralos and Anhelm as the first Epic members to finish book 14 - they were all on when the RingLore was finished, and blew through the rest of the book, finishing at abour 4:20am. Got some nice shoulders for their trouble.

| Annuminas "Raid" Boss, Valtair |
Epic fellowship 1 - Raid Boss Valtair 0 - In a nice show of teamwork, a brave fellowship worked it's way up through the Elites and Master Elites to take on Valtair, the 150K morale Annuminas raid boss just outside Echad Candelleth. Valtair himself was fairly easy once he was by himself, but he had 2 Master Elite archers as well as a few standard Elites to burn through first, plus we had to find a spot to fight him where we wouldn't pull the repops.

Continuing through the 6 man instances, a few valiant members decided to brave Barad Gúlaran with only 4 members, and brought down the Rogmal, Udúnion.

| Book 14 means more runs to CD, Uru |
Epic's been busy running through Carn Dûm and Urugarth to get all the new Titles and Virtues added in book 14. While we had some that have run these instances over and over, others had only gone in for their class items and never gone back. With new reason to go back in, everyone is getting a chance to learn all the ins and outs of these instances. Along with the new titles and virtues, is a nice increase to the Unique teal weapons that drop in these areas.

| Dead Balrog again, full clear in 3h 15m, completing more Rift sets |
We generally split up the Rift raid into two nights, but decided to do a full run with all the book 14 things going on. We went straight through with no issues in 3h 15m, despite a number of people playing their alts instead of their mains. Great job everyone!
Congratz to Halborg and Rapunzel for completing their full Rift sets tonight as well! Here they are playing Slap a Cap'n:

| Congratz to Eldraive, Lywyn and Merwind on completing their full Rift sets |
We've been clearing the Rift every week, and while many members already have their full Rift sets, there are others that are still finishing them up, on both mains and alts.
Eldraive was our newest member to finish all the pieces for her complete Rift suit. Way to go!
Lywyn also completed her Rift set. Yay Lywyn! Here is her fiery picture:
Merwind also finished his set on his Captian. Gratz Merwind!

| Epic helps judge House of Elder Miss Eriador Beauty Pageant |
Epic was happy to support House of Elders as they put on the first ever Miss Eriador Beauty Pageant. Maelstrom, Epic's recruitment officer, helped judge the contest, and a number of Epic members joined the audience. Thanks to HoE for the fun event, and all the contestants for their hard work. And congratulations to Anorawyn as Miss Eriador 2008.

| Another Wig-feld! |
For the second week in a row, we had a Wig-feld drop, and Anhelm, in the second highest bid ever, is now the proud owner of the highly sought after cape. Gratz!

| Balrog still going down regularly |
Although it's not posted here every time, the Balrog still falls to Epic regularly. Here is a recent pict of the slain corpse lying in his pool.
He was nice enough to leave us Wig-feld, which Coenl went all out and spent all of his accumulated DKP to acquire. Bid it like you mean it! Gratz Coenl!
And a big gratz to Gwendor for finishing her Rift set!

| Rift Fishing |
So what better way for Epic to spend their time after doing it all in the Rift then fishing in the Balrog room. Don't let that water deceive you, its filled with fish! No wonder the Balrog lasted so long in their....well until we came in.
Also Grats to Commodore on finishing the Rift set on his Hunter.

Well just about...lol. Since Book 13 we have been in full force in Forochel killing your bears, pillaging your sabertooths, and slaughtering your Guardeans:P We have also been finishing off our members Rift sets. A Big grats to Foesplitter, Domokun, Coenl, and Falar on finishing their Rift sets! E-peen shots below! Now to find a bigger challenge for ourselves.....hmmm...
